How long are the 3 battery cable SUPPOSED to be on a 65 Cutlass V-8? At one point I had put 2-gauge cables on it... and purchased whatever size I could find that was able to reach. The others are pretty close, but the positive cable from the battery to the horn relay is way too long.

The positive cable Fusick sells is way too long. I had to cut mine to length and reclamp on the end.

relay end, peeled back the end, cut the cable, clamped it back on with pliers.

Solder them. It's easy, either end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXDkNMDDrBsI didn't use the fancy pellets, I just got it nice and hot, fed some solder into the barrel, kept it hot/liquid and fed the stripped end in. works fine for me.
