I am putting the interior in the hardtop and since I didn't get any of these cars until someone else had started to take them apart, I am a little unsure on a couple of items. When you hook the top part of the rear seat over the "hooks" and the wire loops on the bottom of the seat frame are down by those straps-is there a bracket that fastens that part of the seat down or is it held in place with the bottom seat frame? Also, are there any fastners or screws that go into the little brackets at the front of the rear seat to hold it in place? I also am assuming that the metal cover plates that sit on top of the rear arm rest and go up to the rear shelf are somehow attached to the rear side panels but not sure how? Sorry for the mundane questions but I never got to actually take this stuff apart-previous owners had already messed with things.

The top of the back seat slides down into the slot at the top and then hooks into the thin tabs at the bottom. I usually hook it at the top then use pliers to bend the tabs around the bottom of the seat. Thats all there is to secure the top of the seat.
The side pieces screwed into the top door panels. They have to be screwed in before the seat goes in.

Thanks Ram Z for the reply. I figured out the back portion of the seat and the side panels just like you described but the bottom portion of the seat I'm still not sure about. I just kinda jambed it in under the back portion until it was tight. There are a couple of brackets there toward the front of the seat but can't figure out how to get to them with the seat in place to attach anything. Got the interior all done, soon as the weather clears I will try and get some pics to post.

You have to jam the bottom down into the back at an angle then press the front of it down to catch the front of the seat frame on those two hooks.
