I want to convert my font brakes to Disc, but it seems that all aftermarket setups require a 15" rim. I want to run my Spinner hubcaps. I am presently dealing on a Power Brake setup with dual cylinder from a 72 olds cutlass, it has drum brakes, but the power and dual resivor would be a nice upgrade. My whole brake system is shot so I have to tear it apart anyway. Is there a factory setup or aftermarket that will allow me use 14" rims?

I think Right Stuff Detailing makes one for 14" rims.

From what I have researched I think I can use the following: 64-72 Skylark, GS 64-72 Lemans Temptest GTO 64-72 Cutlass 442 64-72 Chevelle SS Malibu 64-72 El Camino 71-72 GMC SPrint 70-72 Monte Carlo I was looking at a '72 donor car because of the Chrome lined pistons on the calipers and the Proportioning valve is all one piece. Finding a complete cheap donor car has been an issue, the three so far have all been drum cars. I will call about another car tomorrow. i know it is a drum car, but it is complete and 30 minutes away and it is a 72 olds. i just went and checked out the Kit by Right Stuff as mentioned by Marshman442. It can use 14" rims if they were original 14" disk brake rims. I dont have any, but can probably find them. I have a set of Torque Thrust D's that should probably work. So that is an option. No Hubcaps . I am curently replacing the trunk and rear qtrs at the moment, so this adventure is not an immediate issue. after trunk replacement, i am removing the body from the frame. But I want to have everything there when I do it.

I'll keep looking, Time is on my side at the moment. I have a place that might be able to help me out. We are starting to thaw out here in Ohio now, I am tired of being cold and listening to my heater. I will post my results. Thanks

i think the smaller gm "metric" calipers from a g-body will work with an 11" rotor and a 14" rim... but they dont have near the clamping force.

I have a disc brake set up that the previous owner said came from a 68 Firebird. Can't verify that, but it works just fine.
