Could be, does it have the illusive 425 in it also, is it Canadian made or US made?

The 65 442 I had in the late 60's had a type O rear end. They had a 12 bolt cover but 10 bolt ring gear. It was original to the car.

My original 442 had the factory 12 bolt with 4:33's, but I have seen very few equipped this way. Over the last 45 years......maybe 4 or 5 that could be document as original equipment. I never saw it as an option but special orders could always be made back then.

My hard top 442 has the 3.90 gears with posi in the 10 bolt package with the TH stamp.
My 64 Cutlass, 4 speed, drag car started with a 10 bolt, back in the early 70's. Destroyed the spider gears after 10-15 runs. Went with 5.13 in a 12 bolt GTO rear. Impressive ride, best at 10.90 seconds at 127 MPH.
