thats what happend i thought i was in park it was running at 2500 rpms for 10 min so thought i would add tranny fluid not thinking of it being in gear thought i was in park and forgot i had released brake to put on drive shaft so i added fluid and bingo tranny engaged took of almost like americas funniest videos but it was my car this time o well not mager damage i didn't like that driver door any way had a little rust on it so now is a good time to change it i'm waiting for insurance adj. to get here to see who's paying for power box wish me luck

i was brakeing in motor yesterday when the car fell into gear and drove itself across the street into a fence and a power box knocked out power in the whole block could have been mutch worse so i already have a new radiador support but i do need all headlight bezels and driver door let me know who can help me pm me or call me 916-765-0993 also motor and tranny run great

everything went fine so far went counter clock wise and took a 5/16 socket on my air rachet and oil pumped every were not started yet maybe today after work starting a new motor is like haveing a new baby exciteing i think but i didn't tell my wife that

i've always primed a motor with a drill does any body have a better way also i forgot do i go counter clockwise or clockwise with oil pump

well moveing forward put the motor and trans in today that was about all this body could handle seams when ther's heavy work to be done friends and sons seam to disappear next bolt on all the pretty stuff and hope it starts keep you posted jim

never mind i found it in my bag of motor mount bolts now i have to apologize to the whole family sence i blamed them for moveing my stuff o well

how does someone know if ther engine is original to car from what i've read all 65s were numberd the same so what does it mean then when someone says #s match and how is it people can sell data plates and original rivets so really no one knows what they really have just wondering

i have a set of american mags they measure 8 1/2 x 15 on the inside i put one on the car today rear with no tire but it seamed to wide i think it has a 3 1/2 back space i like a lower look with wide tires to fill the wheel wells it seamed the outside of the rim was flush with inside lip of the fender so i'm thinking a tire might rub maybe a 50 or 60 series i haven't even thought of the front yet even though i have 4 rims in need some input i think i'm thinking this to much thanks jim
