I just received the December copy of Hemmings Muscle Machines and a 69 F-85 W-31 442 won 2008 Muscle Machine of the year. It's not a 65, but it's nice to see Olds on top. It beat out the usual suspects (camaro, charger...etc). In the same mag there is a feature on an Olds 67 Delmont 88 Police Car.
When is the 65 going to get the recognition it deserves?

If someone were to post a link (or email), how many would try to get them to feature one? Can we keep a tally of who would? Ralph

If someone were to post a link (or email), how many would try to get them to feature one? Can we keep a tally of who would? Ralph: Here's the email address for the Editor of Hemmings Muscle Machines; Editor: Terry McGean - tmcgean@hemmings.com Mr. McGean is the guy you want to contact about content in Hemmings Muscle Machines. Editor in Chief: Richard Lentinello - rlentinello@hemmimngs.com Richard Lentinello is the Editor in Chief of HMM and the Editor for Hemmings Motor News. The smail mail address to any Hemmings publication is; P.O. Box 100 Bennington, VT 05201 HMM did a nice feature of a 64 442, but no 65's as of yet as Ram Z stated. However, HMM does a great job of featuring many different types of cars and rods. They frequently get bashed for featuring cars that the Chevy and Mopar heads laugh at like the AMC Scat cars, Studebakers, etc. HMM has also featured tons of Olds in general of all types. That said, I think we should write all of these types of publications to get more 65 442's represented. I'm looking forward to seeing the feature on Ram Z's 65 in Muscle Car Enthusiast

Ive got every HHM. They did a 64 442 ragtop and a resto feature on a 64 442 hardtop. Theres not been a 65, a 67, a 68 or a 69 442 in HHM. They did do a 66 L69 car and a 68 Ram Rod. Theres been a ton of 70s 442s but they poopoo the 60s 442s.

Guys, if it's not too stupid, check out my blog and scroll down to the post titled "The Originals". It's some good info on why the '65 442 is at the top in my book! www.theoldcar.blogspot.com
