This has been a repeated thread a few years ago but I am in the same need so apologize for the repost. I am finishing up a project where I added vintage air to a 65 442. I purchased a 3 groove water pump pulley 391114 and crank pulley 389645 thinking these were the correct pulleys. The water pump is the short 5.072. I am trying to determine if these pulleys will work to align the ps and alt correctly or if I really need to change to the long water pump 5.947 and the water pump pulley to 587260 and crank pulley to 384679 for correct alignment. I have already change the alternator to mount to the left of the power steering on the drivers side. When I bought 391114 and 389645 it stated that it fit 65-67 but I'm second guessing myself based on the belt/pulley diagram off of 442Bro site. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

587260 was used for 1964-65 cars with A/C. 391114 was used for 1966-67. They appear to be interchangeable. Both fit the short (5.1") water pump and both are about 6.4" diameter.

Thank you Joe for your reply. I mocked up the new pulleys again and the alternator and power steering are in alignment using the first same groove which based on the diagram I need a different power steering pulley so that the power steering would be in the 2nd groove. Does that sound accurate?

Don't change a thing, I converted my '65 442 to Vintage Air and the three groove pullies lined up perfectly using their bracket. And use the non air radiator with the upper radiator hose on the left side.

Thank you Rag for your reply. Currently, the power steering belt is in alignment with the alt belt meaning they would run on the same 1st groove. Did you change your power steering pulley to the ac version part number? What vintage air bracket did you use? Their universal or the one for a 68 in the pic?

All my pullies were mix and match off various '65 parts cars. Most of my power steering pumps and pullies came of a/c cars so I must have used the pump/pully off a a/c car. I purchased the '68 bracket part #141008.
