Cool, let me know. I'm concerned about opening mine up to clean up the contacts. With the pot metal body I'm concerned the factory crimping will crack or crumble if I try to pry it back. If others have had success with that let me know.

drilling a hole does sound like a good idea,i was able to locate an A body accelerator linkage unit with a good switch, tested with an ohm meter and works as it should

I'm not an automatic guy, so could you take a few pics of your test procedure (showing ohms) to add to "Switch Pitch Converter" on the HOW TO DO IT page.

I have full linkage and switch assembly that was functional prior to removal from my ‘65 Cutlass that I can part with. I also have a good ST300 2-speed transmission with 65 MK 041 code too. Swapped out to a 200-4R and no plans on going back.

Swapped out to a 200-4R and no plans on going back. I probably don't need the whole linkage, and imagine you'd want to keep it all intact to eventually sell as a complete unit. If you'd ok with just selling the switch let me know.
