My grille is held on with screws going into plastic insert nuts pushed into the support. When it's time to put the grille on after painting I would like to replace the hardware. I've never seen this type of nut that inserts in a slot then you turn it 90degrees to set it. Does anyone know where I can get replacements? I will use the originals if needed. Another option is using plastic insert nuts used for license plates or that style. thanks

I followed up with Jeff at Restoration Specialties on the insert nuts. He thought he had them but was having difficulty locating these nuts in his inventory. I was unable to find a part number to help him so I plan on reusing the original ones. Thanks for the suggestion, it was worth a shot.

AMK is another good source of factory style fasteners.

Do you mean the headlight bezel assemlies with the small grill inbetween? Not the grill correct? The grill should be mounted with bolts.
The black plastic nut insert you're speaking of is part no # 386220
If you find them somewhere please let me know. I've been looking for some too.

Yes, I did mean the attachment for the headlight bezel assemblies. I've check a number of places with no luck. Restoration Specialties and AMK have a lot of fasteners but not these. I checked the Pontiac side of things but that didn't work either.
