recently installed a new Champion Aluminum Radiator in my car...radiator comes with a "base pressure cap" and a Billet engraved cap...the idea is that you install the base cap and then install the engraved billet cap over the base cap...supposed to be a friction fit...designed so that you have the engraved lettering facing the way you want it then you tap it with a rubber hammer into place and it is then permanently fixed to the pressure cap...somehow I cant see myself tapping it into place while it is on the new aluminum radiator, seems like a sure fire way to damage the radiator...seems like you could install the base cap then put the billet cap on and mark both then remove both from the radiator and press together some how like with a large socket in place of the radiator neck and a "C" clamp or vice or arbor press.....anybody do this? ? Thanks
