Hello, I know the old way to test and see if your shocks needed replacing, but on the 65 442 how and what do you do for shock replacement that will get rid of that rolling boat feeling when you are turning. Not looking to put air shocks on, the height is fine, would sure love to have a lot stiffer ride. I'm also not sure how to check the condition of the springs, if that also my be the problem, thanks.

I put Koni shocks on one of my 65's, huge improvement. There are lots of new adjustable shocks out there to investigate. Not cheap though, $100.00 to $150.00 each. Good Luck.

I have air bags inside the springs, really helps to stiffen the ride. But adjustable shocks would likely be easier.
