I have restored a 1965 olds 442 convertible and I recently detected a broken "detect spring" in the shift column. The spring (I believe) holds the shift level in park and does not allow it to slide accidentally into reverse which I believe was a problem for some years ago. The spring is now in 3 pieces and I am having a difficult time locating a replacement. Does anyone have any ideas??
Appreciate any help......and thanks in advance!
