I have a 65 Cutlass that I pulled the motor to do some work and reinstalled it afterwards. The original horn relay junction block had been replaced with another style which I went back with the original style. Also the starter solenoid had a jumper between the two small bolts. I ordered a wiring diagram and it appears the battery and starter are wired up properly but when I connect the positive battery cable to the battery, the car tries to crank until I remove the positive cable. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Remove the jumper, buy a new solenoid, follow wiring instructions in package.
