Started the hardtop in 2003, completed 2013ish. Convertible 2008, almost complete; need to install factory AC under hood and finish Faux wood steering wheel. Did upgrade to Tremic 5 speed, has a 3.90 12 bolt Cheby rear. And power windows. The below is where the convertible started. The convertible has power antenna, dealer 4 way flasher, tilt steering wheel, upgraded to power front disc brakes, with tube A Arms. I put a reinforcement rib in the frame rail.

I did most of the work on the car, including the painting. I agree about shopping work out, always difficult. The day job keeps me busy. The convertible took 10 years to get here. Although, there were lots of side ventures got in the way, including a year to rebuild my 911 air cooled engine. Porsche has bolts to hold in bolts, LOL. There must be 500+ fasteners in the 964 motor, like 6 engines in one package.
