Most of it is good, but I fundamentally disagree with their assertion that electric fans are "more effective".
"Electric fans are simply more effective than the older engine-driven type. They provide high air flows when engines are at idle or low rpm and completely shut off when not required. Every car built in the last 25 years uses electric fans because of the obvious advantages. Major advancements in electric motor designs continue as brushless technology will be the new standard. Puller fans are more effective than pusher type fans."
They are confusing "efficiency" with "effectiveness". Every car in the last 25 years uses electric because 1) FWD vehicles with a transverse engine CAN'T really use a mechanical fan, and 2) using the computer to turn the fan off as much as possible helps eke out another fraction of an MPG. This has nothing to do with "more effective" cooling. And FYI, my 1999 truck came from the factory with a mechanical clutch fan on the 454.
