Are the springs on a 442 the same as the springs on a Chevelle or GTO? Thanks

Nope, they Will work but not for the one who wants their car to be correct. I get my springs at Eaton springs in Detroit. They will make them to fit your car with your options, (ac, or is it a convertible or a post) www.eatonsprings.com/

I bought new fronts from Eaton Detroit. My rears are Sasquatch specials out of his convertible. I had to cut a rung off them so they would fit. Dont know why they didnt fit right off the bat. Those springs are tighter and have more coils than my originals.
