Anyone running later model Rochester Carbs on their 65's? Just curious what carb/intake setups folks have. Anyone have issues with peculation after shutdown? Engine heat pushing fuel into intake causing hard starting/flooding on restart? I'm currently running Edelbrock intake and carb along with electric fan and stock heavy duty radiator.

I had the exact same issue as you and fixed it with an overflow tank. Once I put in the tank and correct radiator cap for that type of system, problem was gone. I could drive it in stop and go summer traffic without any issues at all. My engine has the same intake, but I run a Holley carb. It makes the engine bay look totally non-stock, but fixed the issue.

The Air conditioning cars have a fuel return line to prevent the gas boiling in the line and flooding the carb.
