Yes, the top color and the seat color (also the "white") was a compromise on original. They were supposed to be black but with the temps around here, black was not going to work for me. Will get interior pics when done.

Great color, I don't remember seeing any in that color. I love the "RAG" tops (unlike BRO) and enjoy mine as much as possible. It looks good. Gary

Love the color. It took me several years to find one in Turquoise mist. My car originally came with a white top and a fawn interior. Not a recommended factory color combination. The car currently has a fawn canvas top to match the interior . I'm still deciding if I want to go with white or fawn but the next top will be the original style material and not canvas. Love to see more pictures.

I like how you blended the rear speakers into the rear side panel. Rest of the car looks awesome, especially the white on black contrast of the interior. Well done!!

Yea, I was going to put them in the lower portion but did not like how the seat was going to hit them whenever you took it out and/or sitting down and hitting them. Had just enough space for them in that upper panel and the sound is great with them up higher. Am pretty pleased with how the thing turned out. It's not a true show car but looks darn good. Seems to be running like a champ too. Just got the power antenna in after my repairs on it and it works perfect also. Rear seat belts were sort of a hassle but they look good in there too. Already glad I put the white interior in because of our heat. Drove over to friends house the other day and left it outside in the sun while I was there-about two hours-and I could not even touch the chrome seat belt fasteners to put the belts on. Black interior probably would have peeled my skin off!!

No, not lowered-not my thing-no drop axles, nothing. Thing sat perfectly level when I got everything the way I wanted it and that did not suit my eye-late 60's guy, like a little rake to a car. So I happen to remember that I had taken a four piece set of those black hard plastic spring spacers out of a donor car, found them and put them in. it gave the car a 1.5 inch rake, which was perfect to me. Car has 15" 60 series tires on it-205 in front and 255 in rear(265 would have fit but couldn't get matched set)

Sorry I didn't notice your car before this. Hands down, this colour combo on the '65 Cutlass/442 is hard to beat and with chrome wheels, such as your car sports, the turquoise colour is richly enhanced. In Canada this colour was called Tahitian turquoise. My first car, when I was eighteen, was a '65 442 2 dr htp with these same interior/exterior colours. Even though I raced the car at the local dragstrip I wouldn't necessarily characterize the colour as " racy ", but it was definitely a very sporty looking car with a luxury appeal. ( at least in my way of thinking )
You may wonder why I own a target red one now but it wasn't for lack of trying to end up with another turquoise. Twice I flew from Ontario to Washington State to buy a hardtop in your colour but the deals fell through. More recently, a convert like yours was for sale around the Grand Rapids, Mich. area but decided against it. I believe this car ended up in a suburb of Chicago. Who knows, maybe your car is the same one.
Anyway, I didn't mean to ramble on so much but again want to say that your car is a "real looker" and I bet you can hardly wait to head out to the car shows when the nice weather arrives.
