looked at a 64 f85 2 door post that's going to the crusher, totally rotted and there isn't much there besides that hood spear, hood letters, very decent headlight doors and grill.didn't have a rear tail panel it has just 2 strips between the tail lights.it will be gone very soon.it is however a complete car 330/2 barrel auto

If the two strips between the tail lights are in good shape pull them if you can. I may know someone interested...

they did look good, this car hasn't moved in 20 years, there are trees growing in front of it.it will be a lot of work to get it out and there is so little that is any good I don't think I can break even.don't know if I can take pieces or only whole car yet.i would hate to see any valuables get scrapped but I can't work for free.any idea of value on that trim?

I don't have any idea of value....but assume not much though maybe 25.00. Didn't realize the car was buried in the woods....sounded like it was ready to be scrapped. I'll send the guy an e-mail and see if he's still looking, but don't go out of your way.

owner wants it removed from his yard(not junkyard) but originally wanted $300 for car, with scrap down and not many good parts it's questionable if I can break even, still hate to see valuable pieces go to scrap. didn't get the impression he would let me take any parts and leave carcass

Take a few pics of it. there might be a lot of little parts worth saving. I know the side trim is very hard to find lower and belt line trim . There might be money in the little parts worth 300 once it's stripped, I bet scrap it's worth 200-400 depending in location

I scrapped a full-size 4wd dodge v8 pick-up recently and it paid $370.this car had no side trim/wheel house moldings or even trim on the door post.i know I'm in for 4 hours plus gas to go fetch it out of the woods.pretty sure it's not going to roll very good and that means it stays on the trailer til junkyard

I still need a 64 330 block, doesn't matter if seized, would be building the engine from scratch. Julian date needs to be 79-105. Code is by the distributor hole. not sure he will get this type of pic for you. Also a lot of your time pulling the engine and shipping. i'd make it worth your while if the code was correct. I'm tired of looking for the block:)
