I would like to give two thumbs up to Fastenal, my shipping experience with them was flawless. very professional, prompt, courteous. Even with changes made after the original quote was agreed upon, Tawnya was extremely accommodating. When I picked up my parts upon arrival, the local store here wheeled my parts out to my truck and loaded them for me. There pricing is negotiable should you find a lower price like I did. There not as restrictive on packaging, size, and weight. I dropped a differential off this morning, no problems. One other nice thing is shipping charges are paid by the receiver, not the shipper. If both the shipping end, and the receiving end, work together, you`ll like there service.

What Postcar said is correct, we worked out a head deal, I was very slack on my end, My local fastenal guys werent up to par on it either, but i finally just took up bare heads and they unloaded them boxed them etc, easy to deal with, went smooth, except for the fact i shipped him BUM cracked heads that i wasnt aware of. It was a great honest transaction, but I feel I owe postcar a refund. He was kind enough to refuse my refund, but i would still like to send his money back, If you have his home address send it to me as I want to make this transaction right!

Mark; I was a little surprised to read this. After our phone conversation I thought this was settled. First, I don`t think this is the place to discuss this. Secondly, if I wanted my address listed I`d insert it in my signature line. A refund was never sought after, nor was it expected. You need to sit back, take a deep breath and relax. I don`t fault you, or question your integrity. Fact is, I was a little disappointed at first, but the reality is, these parts we deal in are north of 45 years old, and shit happens. If you feel you must do SOMETHING to make things right, well, you already did by making the post above.

They probably will do it, but I hear they are somewhat leary of sending sheetmetal. That said, I have always had good luck with Greyhound bus for the bigger heavy items.
