here is a video of the car, I had just put a new carb on and it was only adjusted for half throttle(my mistake) and it was running alittle rich, after it was adjusted in correctly, the car ran 10:50. But it was with the new owner. lol www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcMHOOXqTQ0

I think it would have would have been a good race Ted that would have been fun Ted!.. the new owner is changing the car over to race only, lighting it up alot and pretty much all tube chassis. Plus about 900hp motor. I believe he is looking for 8's.

The guy that bought my pro streeter isnt hurting for money, fact after he bought my car, he loved racing it so much, that he went out and bought a NHRA 1/8 drag strip. I am hoping to visit him someday(I have never met the man, He had two guys come and buy and pickup the car) lol I have another motor(425) mild build going into the car, but I really want to build a small block and put the injection unit on it.. but that is really big $$$ away. lol

Oh yeah! I bet that injection unit will be sweet! Where is the guy located who bought your 442? Just curious because of the NHRA 1/8 track you noted? Must be nice to have a that kind of spare $$$.
I've been out of work for quite sometime now. Don't have any spare $$$, so I've been off-loading just about everything I have. Got to put food on the table!
I will be at the homecoming though with my 65.
Ted

Yes the injection will be totally sweet, but I want to use the diesel block and crank that I got from Warren Johnson. not sure about which heads.. I just want 500-600 hp pump gas. Was told that it would be very attainable. I will be attending the homecoming also. Going to be selling those bricks there. pretty sure that I wont have my car there. Bud
