Absolutely stunning. I have had my 66 for three years and am not even close to being done. Frame is ready to slip back under the body though.

Real nice! 66 is the only year 442 I haven't had,and I think it may be my favorite! (Sorry guys,it's those sail panels!) I have had a chance on several 66 verts,but want the Holiday,so I am still waiting... Yours is very,very nice! ---bil thanks bil, i like all the body styles for one reason or another. good luck on your search, i see the holiday coupes for sale once in a while. gary.

i did get them off ebay, but it was a while ago. still trying to get them to lay flat. they get real curled up in the box over the years. i also found a set of nos rears for my 70 w-30.they pop up every once in a while, if i find a set i will let you know. The rears I have came from Ames Pontiac, go figure. They were curled up too. Stuffed in a skinny box for 45 years will do that to em. Your car deserves em Gary. j, i hate the way they curl. i even curled them up the opposite direction in the box, let them sit in the sun, nothing seems to work .

great job on the car! it is beautiful! i love the 66 only oai through the front bumper. its stealthy, especially on a black car

great job on the car! it is beautiful! i love the 66 only oai through the front bumper. its stealthy, especially on a black car thanks oldspeed, installing the oai was tricky, the ductwork is pretty delicate and it is a pretty tight fit. i guess olds came up with that design in a hurry,lol.

How many coats of base are on the car? What manufacturer did you use? I would like to the know the exact product so I can use it on my Holiday Coupe. Thanks.

Thanks. keener, we first put black seal primer, then 4 coats of base and finished up with clear. we used ppg. this car was completed in 2006. i let this car sit about 4 months after all body work was done out in the heat to let all the body work shrink out before painting.we also used the z chrome rust defender primer to get the car really straight. alot of block sanding to say the least .
