Is the accessory belt drive system a kit, or did you or someone custom build that? I like it. Didn't come across a setup like that back when I was in the market for one.

christ, that thing looks awesome, cool belt drive, what heads are those? cant see in the pics Those are Edelbrocks, they were slightly ported at first, then I sent them out to be really worked over, 2.17/1.67 valves, major port work etc. There was major issues with the work so I had to have them done again. Cam changed to hyd roller. MONGOOSE That is the March system although we have had to modify some things!

Its been SLOW progress but we finally went to the dyno facility yesterday with the 468! I have a 12 bolt Moser rear end coming, narrowed 2 inched on each side, 3:73 gear, changing the fuel system over to electric, as mentioned before a Hughes 4L80E trans with the controller and paddle shift, I just received the ARH headers (WOW they are amazing, about to order the rest of the exhaust and hopefully we will be back on the road soon! video Pictures

Another session to the dyno after a few minor changes.... Car is now on the lift for the following (not in this particular order) 1)Move Lokar pedal away from floorpan angle to firewall (we were having trouble getting WOT due to angle of floorpan vs pedal travel! 2) Drill and pin the D coupling from IDIDIT steering column to steering shaft (factory design is poor) 3) brace steering column inside for added security/rigidity 4) move aftermarket shifter back on trans hump 4 inches (too close to dash for my personal liking) 5)Install engine, and 4L80E tranny, new cross member, ARH headers etc, measure new driveshaft for modification 6) Install Aeromotive Phantom looping fuel system into stock (NEW) tank and plumb everything with Braided PTFE hose, 8AN from tank to firewall mounted regulator, 8AN return from regulator to tank, dual 6AN to carb log 7)Install Fast EZ TCU wiring and hand held computer, throttle position sensor etc 8) recheck all electrical plumbing, connections, etc 9) mock up Spintech 3" exhaust, X-pipe, tail pipes etc, remove for Cerakote process 10) Install Moser 12 bolt 3:73 rear end with Disc brakes 11) reinstall exhaust, driveshaft etc ORDER DOT SLICKS lol lol HAVE FUN

Most definitely awesome! What type of adapter do you have to use to mate the 455 to the 4L80E? Do you have pics of it?

What do you have to do to account for the additional "space" the adapter creates? Place spacers between the flywheel and torque convertor where they bolt together?

They send a spacer with it, and washers to go between the flywheel and torque convertor! It was a nice fitting piece, its on now, hopefully we will get the shifter and throttle moved tonight to where we can put the transmission in! I picked up the Fast ez tcu www.tciauto.com/tc/ez-tcutm-transmission-control-unit-gm-4l60-4l65-4l70-4l80-and-4l85e-to-09html/system this weekend! I'm anxious to drive it and see the amount of control this system has over the trans!
