Hi jmorris0520, I might be interested? How much would you sell a can for? How many cans did it take to do paint your engine? Thanks, 65holiday.

It took about 4 and 1/2 cans. The cans are not the typical 12 oz spray cans they are 6 oz cans. I will sell it for $10 a can.

Lifted the roof, holy smokes, You had your hands full, I think my frame welding is peanuts compared to that.

I didnt expect to see it painted when I was scrolled past the roof pic. I am getting exicted to see this one done, it looks freaking awesome so far. I cant image how pumped you must be to see it in paint.
Ive been wondering why the car in your avatar didnt have a roof on it. Thought it was a photoshop pic or something. What was wrong with the original roof??
Ive seen a few of the faux wood wheels and never one as cracked as yours. Hope it holds up, I fixed my standard wheel and it recracked before I could get it back on the car.

Yes, I am very excited it is at this stage.
The reason we replaced the roof is like the windshield and rear window channels the upper lips on the roof were also rusted through. I remember the day I bought the car I punched it on the highway and all of this rust fell on me while driving and got in my eyes. After removing the headliner we found the damage was much worse than we originally thought so we replaced the roof to fix the front and back. Also we learned that we replaced it completely wrong. Originally we measured all corners made marks a cut both the old and new roofs and hoped everything lined up. What we should have done is scraped off the old paint on both roofs and found the lead seams on the roofs melted that away and cut out the spot welds. Everything would have lined up great if we would have done that but at the time we had no idea the correct way to replace a roof.
