Ebay car from back in 04. I think it was in Iowa, looks like a coupe with the big rear chrome added.

It also has the rare 'back-up light delete' option! ---bil The white looks like it does, the green one has the special through the bumper exhaust, just the exhaust is missing.

My mistake,I thought the green one had the 'delete-delete' package. It was an early attempt to market something we all are perfectly willing to pay for nowadays.Pay extra for something that isn't there, and more if it is. So this would be the delete package, when you got the car,the salesman says "OH,you wanted COVERS! those are extra" Sort of like 'rustproofing' now. ---bil

Ya ....... and if you look at the stock tail Pipes, on most of them at least one is pointing down and not straight out the back. You can see the ones from the side real good the ones looking at the back shows one pipe or the other lower below the bumper. I don't remember having this problem on my original 65-442, but it must have been an on going problem. As you all probably know the only reason i point this out is that I'm in the middle of putting on my new tail pipes and trying to keep it straight. I see Ram Z's car in the mag article has the same problem on the right hand side. OH well I'll get it. Gary

I havent seen this one in person but Ron Frye has. He has an interesting story on it, I hope he tells it here. From the ad - Very rare 442 - One of only 30 4-speed F-85 coupes believed to be built - Complete original interior with factory plastic seat covers There is only one thing I believe in the above. That the car is an F85.

Hmmmm... Let's hope Ron does tell that story. I didn't create a Mecum login to see if it hold and at what price. Maybe I'll do that later if I find time.
