hey Jasen, the original color is e-e royal mist with a sterling interior. it looks white from the old primer they used.

Differant color primers were used with certain colors-lighter or darker primer supposedly changes the final color?? ---bil

That's the same color as mine and the same interior too. Hope every thing goes good for you on your restoration. Jasen knows his stuff. Remember when you start doing the disassemble watch out for markings [BRO] and Jasen needs them and to take pictures of them.

Remember when you start doing the disassemble watch out for markings [BRO] and Jasen needs them and to take pictures of them. i stripped most of the car down, replaced the left quarter panel with a nice california panel.new trunk pans and floor boards .i will keep an eye out for markings, but i doubt i will see any. this car had a rough life here on the east coast . and being raced most of its life. i will try to post some progress pics soon.thanks to all you guys for encouragement and information. gary.

66trakpak I just posted some new pictures on my 64 post granny car. Looks like we are restoring the same amount of work, we could most likely share alot of info. I know i could use some. Where the difference may be is I'm building up a base F-85 into a street fighter, upgrading alot of things for speed, safety and comfort. You may be bring your 442 back to the way the factory built it?
