Two weeks ago I thought I bought a 65 442 Club Coupe. Went to get it 5 days later and the seller backed out. I was mad for a couple days but came to my senses and let the deal go. Two days later Ron Frye (club442) sends me an email telling me he found another one. What are the odds? This car is one of 736 with a 4 speed, white with red vinyl guts. Options are 442 package, 2 speed wipers, back-up lights, deluxe steering wheel and 4 speed trans. One options it has thats kinda weird is the "H" chrome, upper fender and body moldings. The car runs unlike the other one I missed out on. The rear is a 4.88 Chevy 12 bolt Trans is a M21 4 speed. Engine is original. Got it home and checked the glove box to find the Protecto-Plate. Head number in the book matches the head. Couldnt believe the POP was there since the car is such a wreck. Sold new to LW Serafy, Wellsville OH, on January 8 1965. Dealer code is 8-510. Any help on that code would be awesome. Ron told me about it and offered to go check it out for me, no charge. Sold me a bench seat for it, some other cant be found interior parts and some doors for cheap, way cheap. Big thanks my man.

Hope you got her home with no problems........... Just because it has a bottom drain plug doesn't mean it's an M22. Hope it is, they bring nice money.

Every Muncie is a Rockcrusher, or so they say. It may have the big yoke on it, Ill check it out tomorrow.
Has a bad ass shifter in it, hardly any throw between gears, and has a red handle that you press down to get in reverse. Also has a blow proof bell housing and headers.

So called Rockcrusher has a different gear ratio and gear angles than our stock Muncie's. Basically it's a loud ass road racing transmission with a high first gear ratio. In other words case is the same gut's are different.

The word is out now.

Looks like a good project. Are you planning to do as nice of a resto on this one as you did on the Holiday?
Did you confirm it's a M21? Is it matching?
I'd be willing to bet that the H belt-line trim on a Club Coupe makes that car unique. It's too bad Oldsmobile didn't keep better track back then. You might have the only white club coupe 442 that has belt-line trim and a 4 speed.
wanna sell it?

Talked to the original owner today, a very old dude from the same town on the POP. Bought the car new from the showroom of Litton Motors INC, East Liverpool OH. Salesman told him it was set up for drag racing, he liked the 4 speed so he bought it. Went to get it the next day and 10 guys had tried to buy it. Told me it would do 118 mph, not on strip but back roads around his house. Also said it had redlines when new. Only had it for a year then bought a new one. Video of my old man driving it. He hasnt drove a 65 since the early 70s.

that front seat looks right at home in there Like its always been there. I didnt know that it bolts to the floor closer to the hump than the buckets do. These cars have a lot of subtle differences.
