I don't know much of the history on her. I got her from Muncie Indiana . It looks like at one time someone switched her over to an automatic then back to a four speed. she has a 425 under the hood out of 67 olds and a Saginaw 4 speed, and wiring harnesses what are those? someone decided to remove them and run every thing directly off the battery with toggle switches.

the only thing red about the interior now is the dash still has the factory red paint on it . I'm gonna change the interior back to red. white interior in cars has always made me think the car belongs to an old lady. LOL. As for the exterior not sure what color I'm gonna paint it.

I'm thinking about going with Peruvian silver for the exterior color.

My brother, it's good to have things to look forward too trust me. But I wouldn't buy any paint just yet, you got yourself some work ahead of you. And that comes from somebody who had a lot of work to do and I'm not even close to be done, mind I am closer, but still a ways to go.

you better buy your paint before 1/1/11 when it has to go waterborne paint only! that will suck.......

Nice project! Your remark about the wiring brought back an old memory-a guy I knew years ago had a 66 Chevelle SS.He didn't know anything about how electricity worked.Everything in his car had a wire running directly to the battery, and alligator clamps hooked to the terminal and the partly stripped positive cable!Want headlights? Clip them on! High and low beams both. Radio-the same.It was a wonder it never burned up. At least you know you need an entire new harness.Good luck with the project! ---bil

You are, by far, more productive with your "spare time", than I am with mine.

You are, by far, more productive with your "spare time", than I am with mine. Spare time, what the hell is that, is it in the Websters dictionary??? Must be right nest to the definition of needing a raise for the last 6 years, the only definition I find of that is "what is Bubba" BTW Shane, keep it up, looks good. Should clean up nicely.
