Theres one more version called the Thunderbolt. Its a Indy style center with a chrome steel wheel ala a Cragar. Never seen one besides in an old ad.

I have always liked the post '65 442s more than the hardtops and even the rag-tops. Weird thing is that the post in a '65 GTO looks bad (as in not good) and the post '65 Chevelle (300 model) looks REAL bad. The Skylark, much like the Olds (in my opinion) looks better in the post model. I'm not sure, but I don't recall seeing a '65 GTO or GS without the bright trim on the post /sedan model, and I think the '65 Malibu SS was only available in the hardtop or conv. And BTW, those wheels are VERY RARE===I think over the years I've only seen a handful and have never seen the chrome version. See ya, Dave.
