Looks good, and yes that money problem is always an issue.

Thanks Bubba. I also wanted to mention that the two coats of POR-15 used about 7/8 of a pint. The cost is not cheap at $29 per pint, but there is a peace of mind knowing that water will never touch the metal.

You are doing a real nice job. All projects look like you are making great progress sometimes and at a dead stop other times. Just hang in there and keep doing a great job.

Update...sorry no photos, but the interior is done and looks great. I shipped the car to Portland. My brother is wet sanding and polishing the car. No, that is not why I sent the car to Portland. I moved to San Francisco and the storage situation here is tight. Only had room for my wifes car and the '64 vert. Anyway, after the paint is cleaned up we are rebuilding the engine. Something dolzinnig (a 442 site member) and I planned to do in Los Angeles but plans changed. Will post pics when this are further along.

Car looks very nice, quality workmanship for sure, and I know how disharting missing a marathon can be, I can't wait until the weekend so I can start my two day marathon with my smoker. And the nice thing about that is if I had a broken foot I could still compete.

got hooked on the marathon back in 2005. have run at least 12 since then and a number of half-marathons as well. When u r good at something u want to continue but foot injuries suck and would even slow u down on the way to the fridge for a cold one. Anyway, I am happy with the interior...a little dissappointed in the replication of the pattern for the '64. Some of you may notice that the rear seat horizontal bar is missing the two extra stiching lines. This was from OPG in Seal Beach, CA...called them on it but all their other '64 seat covers had the same pattern. Oh well. Not sure when I will be in Portlnad next, but I will send you an email.

Excellent, job well done. Personally I like the 64 f85 emblem on the door over the 65 style
