thanx it looks way better, now i wont mind opening the hood in public. took it out once this week before the rains came, sure is fun driving a four speed versus an auto, but i guess that explains why its so hard on gas.how strong are the rear ends in these cars? ive hammered on it pretty hard into 2nd on dry pavement and it just takes it. looks like rain till sunday so im not in a hurry to get the new water pump in( shoulda changed it when it was on the floor but it never leaked before) thanx stan

Lookin good. Can't comment on the rear-end strength, except they are fairly expensive to get parts for (in my experience). I don't think I have enough power to hurt it (not today at least). There is a '65 Holiday Coupe parts car from California just across the line in Everson if you need some parts. By the looks of things, your car is past the point that you could put any of those parts to use though. -grant p.s., have you done the bungee jump off the bridge in Nanimo yet? Worth the experience.

can always use parts, wiper switch is nfg, no winshield squirters at all? back bumper, taillites and rear panel rough, but its a great driver. rebuilt the carb today, no more flat spot. the bungee zone is a very cool place, i havnt gone yet but have been on the bridge before, its friggin high. they also have zip lines and other cool highwire stuff. $100 a jump last i heard. have you gone off grant? is everson in washington state? stan

Oh yeah... I have jumped. 145 feet to the water, I went in head first up to my waist. That was my last weekend living in Washington. Vancouver Island is a beautiful place. quite a rush to jump off that bridge. Everson is a few miles south of Abbotsford. That's where i grew up. There is a pretty good show in Bellingham coming up at the end of May. www.aarcbellingham.com/boulevard_park.htmlI might even be there. I took the windshield squirters off and put them on my car. I think Chevelle is close though. My dad had a box of them. I'll ask him when I talk to him next. -grant
