what kind of sealer do you guys use for automatic transmission pans?
or do you mount it dry?
My engines are always superdry, but trans pans are an issue

I have used the ones from torque tech (that are unfortunately no longer available) on my 65 442 with stock cast iron exhaust manifolds and they fit perfectly. They are actually made for 68 - 72

so this is the TH 400 with the long housing/tailshaft at the end.
I assume you had to adapt the position of the trans mount/cross bar and for sure the tail shaft is custom made right?

the last convertible frame I saw was just a boxed frame.

I agree that the individual runner cast iron exhaust W/Z manifolds will be better than the 68 and previous, and I agree also that headers may give a performance advantage to cast iron manifolds. My opinion is, that most of the time this is of little relevance when driving a car on the street. With a healthy engine you will overcome the grip of the tires with or without headers in most driving situations. And I personally hate installing headers, cause it`simply to narrow in an olds, always troublesome

I do not know if there are other companies selling the, I suppose so, but the ones from inline worked fine. No problem.
But be aware, to mount the fuel lines you either have to take the body off the frame, or cut it in two pieces and reconnect the lines (what I did)

I have been running quite a choice of engines, among them 455`s with healthy cams and heads, and in my opinion, headers are a waste of money for a street car. My 71 w-30 has been running 12.70 with stock exhaust system that was just cleaned from all rough edges, opening up some spots as far as possible in combination with a 2 1/2 inch front to rear exhaust system. So a 400 cu inch can make it easily with some stock manifolds.
The tires are anyway going up in smoke long before the exhaust system is collapsing if you have some compression and the engine is set up right. At least for street driving...

beware of that guy, his talking sounds presidential, his acting is below zero.
I bought a rear bumper for my wife`s 64, cause it has a small dent. He promised a show quality piece. The only thing "show quality" was the price, which was beyond anything. The bumper had waves and dents and the new chrome was already pealing off all over and on all corners. This guy is a pain in the butt.
a 100% no go

He is a friend of Greg Rollins from Supercars unlimited, helped me out with mechanical parts and trans, and I know he parted out some 65s

AT trans and AC car has the center emblem and the sticker. For sure original parts, the original stickers are thicker that the fusick duplicates. the breather on the drivers side was added by me, it`s from a 66, the original hose goes to the carb
