I’m looking for some stock. Tall valve covers for a stock 400 with roller rockers. Do they make stock tall valve covers or do I need to get a spacer? I really don’t want a spacer. Let me know what’s available. Thanks in advance. I use stock valve covers without notches for AC or PB for years with Harland Sharp rockers in various set ups 1. take out the baffles 2. use extra thick valve covers in one engine where i have high oil pressure when the car is cold (70 - 80 psi) the valve covers tend to leak, but not badly. never had any other issues they even fit under power brakes AC I do not know cause none of my cars has it on Ebay you may find decent ones without notches

Anyone knows what jhappens at Supercars unlimited?
Worked for years with Greg Rollin and know an answering machine says they are out of office for several weeks.
Where do you guy get parts from, like coil springs and engine rebuild kits??? Thanks

As I said, I bought a set of 64 bumpers for my wife cutlass and they where just junk, nothing else Chrome peeling of, lots of dents and the core was a rusted unit before they throw it into the bath, but they barely prepared it. Chrome was just laid over the old bad core.
and yes, the price was extraordinary high.

There is an add of Billions and trillions for bumpers
I once purchased a set of 64 Cutlass Bumpers, they where shady junk, dreck, just rubbish, the only thing extraordinary was the price
keep hands of Billions and Trillions in my opinion

completely agree
Greg Rollins takes care of questions about details and is a serious Olds expert. Double checks before shipping!!!
Work with them for about 15 years and have no complains!

Thanks Joe for the information! I did not have that trans running before I received the car so I do not even know if a switch pitch converter is installed. Will have to figure it out, plus the car has now a later Model Quadrajet where the dashpot is installed different.

the inexpensive way is to weld an original 442 air cleaner on top of a q-jet base that fits a quadrate intake
thats what I did

good to know
Since the conversation with Jack was difficult, I bought one at Jegs
But I have to say the one I got from you BRO, which I guess was out of the hands of Jack Muenzer, was better quality.
I suppose the quality stays the same as the old ones from Jack?

I am rebuilding my 65 B block also. Have been thinking about it. Actually I think oil return to the pan will be sufficient over the camshaft gallery. It is a concern to think about a larger oil pan, since the 65 engine is a twister, and this can suck your pan dry, depending on what kind of an engine you build. So I will leave this whole alone beside the timing chain, but install a good oil pump and a 7 quart telling pan. You can also see it the way that the whole is gonna weaken the block

I am pretty sure Brainbeau Olds sponsored a race car, under this side you finde a bunch of factory sponsored race cars. I would have to go through it again to check, I guess they where in Business till 68, think I remember a brain beau Olds 68 Racer, but am not sure here is the link www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yv2KBEXlZiE
