I have a pair of A body 65 thru 68 exhaust manifolds. The right is NOS and painted black right out of the box. The left is near perfect I saved most of the original dark gray coating also painted black. I would say there are 1 or 2 minor pits on the back side of the manifold. The mating faces are true but have some pitting on the front port and last port. Use a little sealer and it will be fine. The heat riser works fine and is in excellent shape. The threads have brass inserts installed. Pics upon request via email. W 389268 RH D1 AZ 144 X 389269 LH D1 BR 14

NOS steering wheel Part# 9742184 1966 light blue. This will fit 1964 thru 66 and is excellent NOS condition. The 4 chrome pieces look like clear is wearing off of them and there are light scuffing from from being moved around but I am polishing them out. Nice crisp detail wheel that could be painted to match your interior. Email psigmund@wi.rr.com for pics.

That may be true but I've always like to have a hard copy on hand for quick reference and to write notes in. Besides this internet thing is just a fad.

I had a trunk mldg done and I specifically told Steve to not loose the texture on the piece. With the striping and copper and buffing much of it was lost. This would be comparable to the 65 panel I think. Maybe sandblasting the panel right before chrome would make it look like it should. Maybe.

The next best thing would to cast the part out of brass and have it chromed.

The Chrome Shop in Menasha WI is all I use for white metal and small parts. Steve Campbell is an excellent guy to deal with. I am a picky SOB when it comes to replated parts. As it was explained to me these parts that we want to look new again were never intend to be striped and replated. If you want a quality job find a piece with no pits as they will show to some extent in the end. Some detail will be lost in the polishing and plating. That being said Steve did a 67 442 grille bar for me and it is as sharp as a NOS piece. if you expect something that looks NOS you will be disappointed.

Well at least you admit it. Some of the suppliers can't/won't admit to being wrong. I will see you on the 23rd bring lots of cash! More pics of the shed please.
