Checked both my 64 Cutlass and my F-85 Wagon and neither had a flat spot. Tried to look from every angle and i had a ruler to check the reflection in the paint but no flat spot.

I put a thicker (1") front swaybar from a 78 Camaro on my 64 F-85 wagon. Fit perfectly.

The 400 are wider and higher. The 400 headers will not fit.

Thanks a lot BRO. Ordered the shifter but i need another installation kit because i got a 71 M20. They got bolts to attach the transmission linkage instead of studs which are on the pre 69 transmissions.

What part # is the Hurst Competetion Plus shifter for a 64? I got a bench seat and a M20 26 spline from 71 that`s going in my Wagon. Talked to a guy at Hurst but he wasn`t much help when i checked what he recommended.

BBO headers on SBO will not work. Contact Smitty at www.mjproformance.comHe can tell you what headers that will work.

I had the same problem on my 64. But then i stumbled on the backup light delete plates and bought a pair of these on ebay for something like$15-20.00. They were not mint but in great condition. I think they are pretty rare and i like the look of the bumper when you put them on. Maybe not what you want but another option if you can find a pair.

Driver side can be found NOS on ebay from time to time but the passenger side are way more difficult to find. I´ve been looking for a long time without finding a decent one.

Isn´t the first one a Buick only bellhousing? No room for a Olds starter if you don´t grind some on it

I´ve also searched for seat covers for both my 64 Cutlass Sport Coupe and my 64 F-85 Wagon. Nobody reproduces them. To have someone make them here in Sweden we´re talking about over $3500 per car. I´ve now got some leads (from a hot rodder)to have them made abroad for about $1500 per car including shipping and customs. We´ll see how that turns out when i got all the details.
