I finished the restoration of my Dad's '65 442 several years ago. When I did it, I *stupidly* tossed the original heater/water valve and bracket that goes in the back of the intake manifold, in between the heater core.
I now have a piece of hose twisted to fit. I thought it was unnecessary at the time but I'd like to put it back correctly.
I have the moulded hose from Fusick, and Glenn was kind enough to send me some pictures of the setup.
If anyone has the valve and bracket for sale, it would be greatly apprecaited! You can PM me or email me at albert@albertpenello.com

Hey Albert, glad you found the board. Ive used your site and you dads car for reference many times. Roger Green, the OCA advisor for 65 442s, made some brackets and the valve retainer clip a while back. I have his email at home if you cant get it.

Is that for an AC car, or non-AC? I don't think my AC car has one like that, I'll have to take a look to be sure, but I think I would remember that setup.

Looks like a valve for an AC car from what I can see
I got one of the brackets from Roger and he sent me a picture of his original AC car water valve...looks like that from the top..If I can figure how to attach it I will post the pic...
I also have a NOS GM AC water valve...identical valves are from the oem manufacturer Dole....I believe Roger still may have a few of them. Him and I picked up a bunch of them from a guy on Ebay.

I don't understand why a non-AC car would have a shut off for the water going to the heater, makes no sense to me.

Second pic shows the different hoses. The crooked one with the valve has "for cars with 35W29 only" W29 is the 442 option code.
