Hello All I'm the new guy and wanted to share my ride. I'm second owner, and am lucky it's still in the shape it's in considering I've been using, abusing, and neglecting it for almost 30 years now. I blew the motor in 97 and just got it back on the road this summer, (albeit with a temp 330 motor). Recently acquired a correct B block and am hoping to get it in by spring. Will have a lot of questions for you guys. These pics are of it unwashed coming out of storage after 12 years, and a little cleaner sharing it's space with my 60th party goods in August. Think I should restore it or just keep driving it? No rust, original paint, never seen salt, 91k documented, and all there. Ron

A non-posi auto. Guess that's why it survived.
Been going through it with a fine toothed comb......the list is becoming endless. Had to recore the radiator...........not cheap.

put some tires on and the shop apoligized they couldn't do an alignment............until upper and lower ball joints are done..............and they had to throw in that the steering box is leaking
and then there's the A/C...................glad I'm not doing a restoration.............but it does look good, eh?

From what I see it's sure looks good enough to drive to me. Nice having an all original in good shape.
OMG Schlitz haven't seen that in years, live close by, I'll bring some becks or something and we can commiserate over it being stored for 12 years.

VERY cool- I couldn't bare restoring it. Leave it just as it is, it is a time capsule!

[glow=yellow,2,300]Enjoy It, but before you do............go over the brakes (completely) and run all NEW brake lines. Just about eveything else is secondary.[/glow]

They copy yours if you have a special application. They also have patterns of a lot of older vehicles.
