looking for info on removing the rear courtesy light bezels...I think they just pop off but don't want to risk damage...don't see any info in either chassis service or body service manual also any help on removing black plastic pinch weld moldings around rear window...do they just pry off... manual says use rubber mallet???

The plastic insert (lens) pops out, then there will be two screws. The plastic around the rear window pops off, but it can break if it is old and brittle.

thanks for the response...After a little more investigation I discovered the two screws and that the whole piece comes out...my plastic trim pieces for the sail panels are pretty much toast in every sense of the word just crumbled to bits...the top piece looks to be in decent shape though...too much so cal hot sun I guess...better for rust but death on plastic parts...anyway thanks again for the response...

I found that the ones that are a color become brittle but the black ones seem to hold up better in the sun. Go figure.

my car has a black headliner and thus it had black trim pieces...glad your black ones held up...mine are now mostly a pile of black powder on my package tray except for the top piece...it seems to be in reasonable shape...
