...you didn’t know you had?
I’ve been moving for the last month or so. My son has been helping me pack and move the garage and storage. I kept telling him to remind me to get the parts in the attic in the garage. Well, when we finally got around to pulling these pieces out, I found shit I didn’t know (or remember) I had. With the exception of a mediocre tail panel I had a complete set of side chrome along with hood spear and hood lip moldings that is in truly excellent condition. And no, they are not for sale. Not one single pit anywhere, I swear it is damn near NOS condition, and 1965 NOS condition not sitting on a shelf for 50+ years. Even the black paint is perfect on most of the pieces. I also found;
Anybody need a column shift dash plate, I’ve got two? And extra auto console An extra top plate and console door for a 4-speed console A set of standard wheel covers for a 65 and a couple of the next level up wheel covers, not spinners.
And I’m still finding shit in places. I’ve got to be out of the old house by Monday night so maybe more to come.

If you have an OEM tailpipe chambered resonator, preferably damaged or rusted, I'm looking for one to use as a sample to reverse engineer and build copies. I might be interested in that tail panel if it is not badly pitted. I dread the thought of moving someday and having to actually empty my home shop. Don't envy you. Thanks.

Do you have a pair of reverse lights for a 65 Cutlass?

Every time I try to "clean up", I find stuff that I bought at Carlisle a few years ago. The most painful part is when I KNOW that I have something, can't find it, and buy a replacement. The original usually drops at my feet within moments of the replacement being delivered. This just happened with the wiper motor for my truck. I KNEW I had bought one. Finally went to install it, couldn't find it, and bought another. The first one dropped at my feet almost as soon as I shut the hood after installing the second.

Joe, I suffer the same affliction. Much worse, I usually label things, put the in zip lock bags, then can't find which box I hid the bag in! Getting old sucks!

No tail pipes at alll, sorry. My 442 had standard pipes when I bought it. I'll snap a pic of the tail panel, but it’s pitted. All the tail panels I have are blemished in some sort of ways to varying degrees. The best one is on my 442, duh.

My son calls me a hoarder, especially when I’m convinced I have the part somewhere. It’s really a terrible disease.
