Oldsmobile 1966 400 ‘E’ engine, good running, approx.180#’s compression allcylinders, oil pressure 30-50psi, idle vac. 16 in. hg., runs 180-200 f. degrees, correct ‘E’ blockdate code 87 (March 28), Modified ‘B’ heads port/polish large valves stamped N595012 (66 98 VIN 384676M177572), correct intake (390390) and carburetor (7026250), recent starter & water pump, Mallory electronic breakerless ignitionsystem (complete - coil, wires, cap & distributor) see pics and video at eBay site; www.ebay.com/itm/322710757289...84.m1558.l2649
This is the engine I had in my car while I rebuilt my 'correct' by (VIN and POP) 'B' block with matching heads, it's a good stock runner
I would have liked to have gotten this up here first but a sudden loss of space dictated that I move quickly, the new stuff is new, the used stuff is usable, the headers will fit an automatic, I didn't have the time to fit them to my stick.
