I would like to have my cars alignment checked but one of the shops (Firestone) said they didn't have specs going back that far. My car is a 65 olds Cutlass Holiday. He said if I could find them (specs) he could align it. I suspect going to another shop will run into the same problem. Are there standard specs for my car, if so where would I find them? I believe that the front end was rebuilt, ball joints and tie rods. Etc.
The reason I want the front end checked is the car seems to drift a little to the right and there is a little play in the steering. The small amount of play my be fixed by adjusting the steering box. Also, one of the tie rod is ends (right side) the boot is torn and should be replaced. john
