Car may have been in Missouri at one point? If the same car (might not be) its cloned. I sold a guy in Missouri a bunch of parts (mostly 442 related) a few years ago and he sent me a picture of his car when done. Looks very much like this car. but could be wrong.

Doesn't the plate on the firewall indicate that it was a Cutlass built in Lansing?

what year Olds and model are those caps from???
also did anyone ever figure out what the round or diamond shaped holes punched in the tag on the fire wall mean??? I have two Fremont 442, one Vert. and one Holiday, one has the round hole and the other has a diamond shaped hole, don't remember off hand which is which right now, last year at a local show I spoke with a person that had worked at the Fremont plant on the line installing doors during the 60's and he had no clue what it meant...just wondering...

for 42900 it should have the right caps and blacked out grille i agree,i don't know how you could go that far with a restoration and not finish it and black out the grille or use correct caps.they look like 67 caps to me.no pictures of numbers stamped in left rear frame rail either.it is a beautiful car just the same.

wrong radiator shroud and I think the console insert color is wrong or maybe the photo

Radiator shroud is correct, at least it looks just like my Fremont built 442 with A/C. What doesn't look right to me is the placement of the grill badge and no black paint.

Radiator shroud looks like the metal ring for the cutlass. The 442 usually has the full non metal shroud. I agree with the grille and grille badge. Also doesn't have correct tail pipes and rear bumper needs alignment.
Still a nice car with 4 speed, PS, PB, Tilt and air. I'm only pointing out these things due to the price. Maybe worth $24,900 not $42,900 but it's only worth what someone will pay. Just my opinion.

I don't think there's been a divinities answer which plants used which shrouds. My Fremont has a metal ring and a clutch fan. Some come with the full plastic shroud and no clutch fan.

OK my cutlass convertible came with a metal shroud and air. My 442 Verte and Holiday Coupe 442 both came with Air, clutch fans and the plastic full shrouds. All cars were Lansing Cars.
