I'm planning on adding an after market A/C to my 65 and looking for 3 groove pulleys. I have a 3 groove water pump pulley that has the part number stamped on it that matches the assembly manual. I have a line on a 3 groove crank pulley and want to confirm it also should have the number stamped on it? The assembly manual shows it as #384679. If not is there a good way to identify the correct one? Thanks

Is a pulley off a 67 the same as the 65? The guy with the pulley claims they're the same but hasn't come up with a part number to confirm. The is one of those friend of a friend of a friend deals.

Shane checked the Hollander book and the pulley wasn't cross referenced. Does anyone have a good way to identify a 3 groove crank pulley? Does anyone have one they want to part with?

Does anyone know if a 3-groove pulley from a 330 is the same? I'm sure I have one from a 330 somewhere in the stash

In my experience the pulleys off 330 - 425 are the same 1965 - 1967, just put all 330 pulleys on my 425 and everything works fine.

Does anyone know if there is a 2 letter code stamped on the 3 groove crank pulley? If so, what is it? Thanks

Dave, my apologies for not getting back to you. I'm going to be in my garage all day today getting ready for my next trip and will check on the pulley first thing.

I have a 65 88 that had factory air,the bottom pulley was an add on looking thing. cast iron 3 spoke held on with the 4 bolts. ill see if I can get a pic of it. it has a chip in it so probably not useable, just for reference.

I've been looking for the pulley I pulled off my 330 engine I parted out. I can't put my hands on it for some reason, it wasn't in the box that had the balancer. That said, the one I have does not look anything like the pic you posted. It looks like the standard 3 groove pulley any Google search would show.

The pictures posted earlier were from another member showing what he had on his car. The pulleys in the pictures BRO posted are what I'm looking for. Per the assembly manual the 3 groove crank pulley is part #384679 and 7.175" OD.

BRO what's the OD of the pulley? I have the 3 groove water pump pulley and from what I've read it's important to have mating pulleys for the alignment. In the assembly manual they give the OD and pitch for the pulleys. Measuring the OD is easy but I don't know how to determine the pitch.
