Thats not going to draw in. The chrome is not flexible, and its where its supposed to be. The problem is with the body.

Yes that is where we seamed it and it had the bow of the fender I really think I can get it to suck it even if it's body metal adjustment I just don't want to crack the paint. If not well at least it's a driver my next one will be even better learn from my mistakes. If I had to do it over I would have done the bottom section like I did the other side Over all the arch looks pretty good still not show quality

WOW!!! Car looks awesome! Agree with others, the color of the paint is really nice! Glad to see your efforts are paying off. Nice score on the engine. Remember, you cannot mix and match frame and engine mounts. Using small block frame mounts, with big block engine mounts, will result in a deck height that is possibly 2 inches higher than normal. This will raise the air cleaner height and prevent you from closing the hood. My guess is you have small block frame mounts, so USE small block engine mounts on your big block. This will give the big block approximately the same deck height as the previous small block that was in the car. Note: the BB is a little higher from crank to top of carb, but hood closure should not be a problem, even with a stock air cleaner. DO NOT waste money on big block frame mounts, just use the SB frame mounts and purchase new SB engine mounts. Using BB mounts (engine and frame) will put the engine in the same place as using the SB mounts...

Keener, I was planning on using the 330 mounts and brackets on the 455. I am wondering if the 2151 performer and the Eddie 800cfm carb will be a issue ? I have read that some are using a spacer on the set up is that needed? I have two olds air clean off like a 70 set up that I plan to mod to a dual snorkel they are slot thinner then the old 330 air cleaner Here is a crappy video I took today after reinstalling the budget rebuild Eddie 65 330 running - YouTube

Oldstata, currently in my 64 post pro-touring build I have a 67 400E, performer intake, Dean Oliver Q-jet. Using SB mounts and brackets. I wasted a lot of energy fabbing a dual snorkel air cleaner out of two 65 Starfire air cleaners, and it looks really cool but cannot shut the hood! The Big Olds Air cleaners are too thick. I think if you fab up too Cutlass 4 Barrel aircleaners and buy a drop base you will have no hood clearance issues.

That looks very clean, I like the idea of the sound deaden-er and then the insulation. Have not gotten that far with my 64. Nice

What did you do for sail panels?
Of course the ones that were bought with my headliner so they would match are different than what was in my car.

With that said it was all custom done I believe including the head liner. The headliner in both corners has sewing flaws with is causing wrinkles. The sail panel is fiber board wrapped with the same material as the head liner with extra on the window side and the piller side to be tucked under like the ends of the headliner They also wrapped the visors and package tray too The wind lace holds them in place
