looking for a idea for my olds. i am running a 72 455 in my oldsmobile. the motor was equiped with air and i have now deleted it. but am still using the rest of the brackets. i am using after market valve covers but the that being said my alterner just clears them and i have very little adjustment. does anyone have a sugestion of what i can do to change it up to have more adjustment for my alternater

Wish I had an idea other than making a low mount. I have some tall aluminum covers I was going to run, even converted to manual brakes because the booster wouldn't fit. Did think to check the alternator mounting before I did all that. Now I'm back to stock 73 oldsmobile embossed covers.

Attachment DeletedYour power steering pump should be mounted low on the drivers? Get a non-air alt bracket for the pass side, issues resolved. That's what I did to my 67 442 with the 455 with very tall Rocket Racing valve covers
