if i'm already running at 3200 at 65 whats going to happen with 373 With the th350 trans which has a final ratio of 1:1, 26" tires and 3:73 gears Im at 3200 RPMs at 65. When I add a .70 ratio OD it will drop me to 2200 RPMs with the same combo. Thats where I eventually want to be. With 3:23s, a final ratio of 1:1 and assuming your 14" tire measures out 24" your tach should be at about 3100 RPMs. If you raise to a 26" tire your RPMs drop to about 2800 without doing anything to the rear. 27" gets you close to 2600.

It means you have a 3.23 ratio ring and pinion that was manufactured in Dec 1964
