Hey guys, just joined the site after speaking to another member about possibly buying my 10 bolt rear end. My 65 currently has a 330ci with mild performance upgrades, TH350 w/ TransGo stage 1 shift kit, & 8.2" 10 bolt POSI rear with 3.08 ratio. Just swapped from 2 speed column shift to a 3 speed floor shift last spring (2011) and did a full front end upgrade with tubular upper & lower control arms, springs, shocks, power disc brake conversion, sway bar & steering linkage assembly. Now, I'm building a BB 455, upgrading to a TH400 w/ stage 2 shift kit, new drive shaft, & 12 bolt POSI w/ 3.42 ratio. Also will be installing the Dick Miller 7028 rear suspension kit, triangulation braces, adjustable shocks, sway bar, & a set of Mickey Thompson ET's. Glad I found a place just for 65's!!! In addition, as I briefly mentioned, I will be selling my 330 motor complete with accessories & brackets, TH350 tranny, & complete rear end. Check the classified section for details to follow if interested.

Thanks everyone!! I don't want to make it seem like I restore & flip cars....by "current project" I mean the drive train upgrade. I've had this car almost 15 years now.

Glad to have you onboard. Now you have to get interested and educate us on tips that you know and we don't. We're always interested in the problems that you've come across and how you addressed them. Pictures always help.

Hey guys, just joined the site after speaking to another member about possibly buying my 10 bolt rear end. Welcome! And tell that "other member" that Big Mike needs that rear more so you should sell it to me. Love the color combination, it is just like my 442 except for the interior, love the two tone dark over light. w29.boards.net/index.cgi?board=65442s&action=display&thread=150Sweet ride and will be even sweeter with the upgrades.

Is there a certain section u would recommend I post the engine build in?? I have taken a few photo's along the way, I'm about 75% finished at this point. Just a few more parts to purchase and install on the motor before it's complete. Come winter, the DRIVETRAIN will be pulled, front to back, to be sold off and make way for the new and improved setup. So next year, she will be a serious sleeper with around 600hp at the flywheel!!
I will get the tire sizes and post them for the user who asked, I can't remember them exactly right now. I know the wheels are 15x7 F, 15x8 R.
I'm sure the potential buyer of my 10 bolt will chime in here soon, so u can guys can play rock paper scissors for it, LOL. Also, the tranny is really solid, just not built to handle the torque I'll be making. Rebuilt less than 1500mi ago, it's a great deal for any potential buyer. I planned to run this tranny for a while, until I decided to go big block. The motor is also very strong, doesn't blow black smoke at all, or any smoke for that matter. It's really clean running and could be freshened up for more power or ran as is.
