Getting close to replacing the rubber around the wing vent windows......I have the new rubber.......and as always the unknown presents questions.......what should I expect? Do I just take out the whole wing vent assembly and install the new rubber? Is it easy or do I need to be prepared with special tools? I even have the window guide felt for the wing vent....glue or is this a mechanical fit?
Ken Will I ever be done???.......hope not!

Vent rubber is easiest, and it may be required, if you have the wing glass assembly out of the car. The glass has a spring under it that keeps the tension on it when open. Remove the spring keeper, and the glass will come out. remove old rubber, but keep the little metal clips off it. Those hold the rubber in the big chrome piece. Glue in the felt channel runners just to be safe.

Thanks RAM Z, looks like the weather is going to allow me to get back at the projects. I just love the winter weather here in central Florida. Maybe I will be able to get everything done this winter.
