By looking at the pic of your car, it already looks like it sits down about as much as mine with a 2" drop. Did you compare the spring you took out with the new 2" drop spring to compare height differences unsprung? Or, I wonder if your car already has a 2" drop spindle on it, running a stock height spring, and now that you've added a 2" drop spring, you now created a 4" drop? Just throwing out ideas for you here. The car has stock springs, spindles, its actually not that low, big wheels lol, the stock springs had collapsed, i got a wild hair today and just tore it down to the frame

Good point... didn't think about how a larger wheel diameter will close the wheel to fender gap, making it look lower.

18 x 8 front 19 x 9.5 rear, thats funny, those pictures were taken in town, I live right outside of Asheville, NC. A wonderful Trout stream runs through my back yard, In the summer we like to fire up the smoker, throw on a pig, and fish in the back yard, I can be atop the Blue Ridge Parkway in 15 minutes. If you want to push your car GOOGLE the following, Dragons tail, Blue ridge parkway, Nantahala gorge, Foothills Parkway, etc etc, you can drive for days and days around here on curvy (when I say curvy I mean you wont get a new ZR-1 over 35-40 mph on these roads) slap full of waterfalls, trout streams, mountains and some guy in a Chevy truck wanting to race, hahahaha

I was down there 2 years ago in October,a wedding at the Vanderbilt estate.Very nice area,my brother lives just below,on the border with SC,outside Tryon. Very nice country. I went to see the motorcycle museum near Ashville, then down a valley and up through a pass to Castle Rock, where they filmed some of 'The Last of the Mohicans" Real nice area! But the people talk some kind of strange language,we barely understood each other! ---bil

We lived just outside Seattle, WA for about 11 years, loved the mountains and the scenery out there. Miss that....and the fresh seafood. As close as I get to that now is by going to northern Arkansas or southern Missouri, beautiful lakes, great fishing, curvy roads and lots of trees.

I try to wear out the stretch between Asheville and 181 as often as I can Spring through Fall in my 78 Malibu. I probably won't make it up there this year due to an engine swap. There are some nice sharp curvy spots between Chimney rock and Asheville also.

Just to be clear, the picture of your car has all stock suspension with the 18x8 and 19 by 9.5 rims? What backspace and tire size? Love the look and would like to do it some day when I run into some extra cashola.

Love the look and would like to do it some day when I run into some extra cashola. In that picture... yes my car has all stock suspension, and it was terribly worn out. I had to do a little banging on the rear outter fender wells to avoid rubbing, I am running 18x8 and 18x9.5 If you look up Boss wheels, its a 38 or 338, you will find them, I think only one back spacing is offered for our lug pattern.
