Ok then, geez, I have a car and a half, if the half isn't finished I can bring the other one. We need more input from other members

A year out, in Albuquerque, I think I would be able to make that. I'm not going to be able to get mine going by summer at this rate (I had MAJOR family issues come up the day after I got my car home). But spring next year is a good goal to shoot for.
Albuquerque, Denver, Dallas, Oklahoma city, Reno, whatever. I doubt I'd go to Sturgis. It would be great to have a gathering of our rides, and meet our "KIN FOLK". Great idea, I think we would need to "MEET IN THE MIDDLE". Where that is, I dunno. JMO Jim

Woodward Dream Cruise. Best place to meet hands down. Cars everywhere, its free, and its close to home! You guys that live close to Detroit can arrange that weekly, if you so desire. A 65 ralley to include as many board members as possible? Like I posted, meet in the middle. Wichita, or KC maybe. That will stretch it far, for me. Hell, I don't have it running yet, and I have 3.55's. Just My Opinion Jim

Trailer it then.

I'd rather drive it with the 3.55's, than to stretcher it like it's wounded. Been there, done that. I sold the racecar, and the trailer. JMO Jim

Where ever it is I will be trailering mine. With a 4:10 rear and a 4 speed, no way I'm driving. Besides with my bad back a ride like that in my 442 would kill me. It's my big comfortable seats in my Excursion and a trailer for sure.
I'd go for a summer 2012 gig. I'd rather drive somewhere and meet you guys rather than an Olds National meet.

They would probably do us in like easy Rider. Maybe we need rules to start our meet on. 1. At least one gas station that has Turbo Blue Gas, or equivalent. 2. At least one Big ass restaurant 3. Motels for the non campers (ME) 4. Some clear open deserted blacktop. 5. One decent chiropractor. ;D

And speaking of bad backs, Big Mike, the 442 is the only thing I can drive that doesnt bother my back... My seats, especially the drivers seat is in desperate need of new springs and new padding. I have them and most everything to redo the interior I just haven't had the time to install everything. Every winter I say this is the winter I redo the interior and somehow something gets in the way. But, I do have one more winter before the rally so you never know. But it's still going on a trailer.

At least one Big ass restaurant That serves Big Ass steaks! 3. Motels for the non campers (ME)Add one more to the non-campers list. I like mine with king beds please. 4. Some clear open deserted blacktop. An abandoned air strip will do nicely. 5. One decent chiropractor. ;D Screw that. A decent pharmacist will do just fine for me.

I thought all Oldsmobile guys had big ass motor homes with a double deck trailer like Bob Anderson has! I would arrange the whole deal for a meet in Albuquerque at the annual April car show. It is actually in Rio Rancho at the NW corner of Albuquerque. They get over 200 cars and it gets bigger every year. Or we actually have a BOP show in April every year but not the same weekend as the Rio Rancho show. But remember gas will be over $4.00 per gallon by this summer and won't get any cheaper. 2012 or 2013 would be good. There are hotels close to the car show and then the next day have a big ass party at my place. There is even a drag strip here that we could use the day after the show. I won't have the vert done by then but the blue post will have a built 425 in it and be on the road.
